GRAVITYHOP

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective October 4, 2026

The short version: GravityHop doesn't collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Your progress lives on your device. Purchases go through Apple.

GravityHop: The Last Signal (the "game") and this website (gravityhop.app) are made by Henry Sowell, an independent developer ("I", "me"). This policy covers both.

THE GAME

WHAT I COLLECT

Nothing. The game has no account system, no analytics or crash-reporting code, no advertising, and no third-party code that sends data anywhere. It doesn't track you across apps or websites, and it doesn't ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

To remember your progress between runs, the game saves a small file on your device with:

That file never leaves your device, and I can't see it. It may be included in your device backups, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy. Deleting the game deletes the file.

PURCHASES

Depth 1 is free. The rest of the game is unlocked with in-app purchases made through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the game, on your device, which purchases your Apple Account owns. I never receive your name, email address, payment details, or Apple Account information. Apple sends me sales reports that don't identify you. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

DATA APPLE MAY SHARE WITH DEVELOPERS

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings (Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give me aggregated usage statistics and crash reports. Apple collects these, not the game, and they don't identify you. You can turn this off at any time in the same place.

THIS WEBSITE

This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts, fonts, or embeds. Everything it shows is served from gravityhop.app itself.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. The only traffic information I can see is aggregate, such as total visits, and it doesn't identify you.

WHEN YOU EMAIL ME

If you write to support@gravityhop.app, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. I use it only to look into your message. I don't add you to any list, and I don't share it with anyone except as the law requires. My email is hosted by Google, under the Google Privacy Policy. I keep messages only as long as they're useful, and I'll delete yours if you ask.

CHILDREN

The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Parents can turn off in-app purchases, or require their approval, with Screen Time and Ask to Buy on Apple devices.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in the EU and UK, and state privacy laws in the US such as California's CCPA, give you rights to access, correct, delete, or move your personal data, and to object to how it's used. Because the game and website don't collect personal data, there's normally nothing for me to hand over or delete. If you've emailed me, you can ask for a copy of what I hold or ask me to delete it, and I'll do so. I don't sell or share personal information, and I don't use it for targeted advertising. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

For support emails, I'm the data controller, and the legal basis is my legitimate interest in handling your message.

CHANGES

If the game ever starts using a service that handles data (for example, Game Center leaderboards), I'll update this policy before that version ships and change the date at the top. The App Store's privacy details for the game will change at the same time.
