TERMS OF USE
Effective October 4, 2026
GravityHop: The Last Signal (the "game") and gravityhop.app (the "website") are made by Henry Sowell, an independent developer ("I", "me"). By using either one, you agree to these terms.
1. THE GAME'S LICENSE
The game is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"), which you accept when you download it from the App Store. These terms add to the Apple EULA. Where they conflict, the Apple EULA wins for the game.
2. PURCHASES
- Depth 1 is free. The other depths and the Core are unlocked with in-app purchases, either all at once or one depth at a time.
- Purchases are made through Apple's App Store, at the price the App Store shows you before you confirm. Apple handles payment, taxes, receipts, and refunds under its own terms.
- Purchases are one-time unlocks tied to your Apple Account. They don't expire and can be shared through Family Sharing.
- To get purchases back on a new device, open UNLOCK on the title screen and choose RESTORE PURCHASES.
- For refunds, use Apple's Report a Problem page. I can't issue refunds directly, because I never handle your payment.
3. YOUR PROGRESS
The game saves your progress only on your device. If you delete the game or lose the device without a backup, your progress can't be recovered, because I don't have a copy. Your purchases are not affected, since Apple keeps those with your Apple Account.
4. UPDATES
I may update the game to fix problems, improve it, or add content. Updates can change how it plays. I'll keep the game and these terms consistent with Apple's App Store rules.
5. FAIR USE
Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute the game or its content, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use the website in a way that disrupts it or tries to get around its security.
6. OWNERSHIP
The game, its story, characters (including HOP-7), art, music, sound, code, and this website are owned by Henry Sowell and protected by copyright and other laws. "GravityHop" is my name for the game. Apple, iPhone, iPad, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content.
7. NO WARRANTY
The website is provided "as is". The game's warranty, and the limits on it, are set out in the Apple EULA. To the extent the law allows, I don't promise that the game or website will be free of errors or always available.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the game or website, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the game in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be limited, including rights under the laws of the EU or UK.
9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
If I change these terms, I'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Changes apply from that date. If you keep using the game or website after that, the new terms apply.
